Profile
My final-year project compares wind-tunnel tests with CFD to find out how leading-edge modifications delay stall. This year I’m also studying computational fluid dynamics, aircraft design, aerospace propulsion and avionics, and space mission design.
I’ve led three team projects as group leader and project manager, planning each in ProjectLibre: a systems-engineering design to collect plastic from the Pasig River in Manila, a seven-person featherweight combat robot for Robot Wars, and a five-experiment thermofluids lab programme. On my own I’ve taken designs from requirements to drawings and machining plans, from a ratchet-and-pawl track tensioner to a V-groove soft jaw, its 21-blank batch fixture and CNC program.
Alongside full-time study I’ve worked part-time at Sainsbury’s since 2023, planning daily bakery production and training new colleagues. I’m a Student Affiliate of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
Outside engineering I play football, walk long-distance and heritage trails, and I’m learning photography.
